I'm with ya, spectator,
Heathen - DAVID BOWIE -- man, that guy is fucking magic...how good is the cover of the pixies' 'cactus?'... it doesn't do it for me with frank black, but it really is something with bowie...i also love slow burn, with pete townshend on guitar....what a cool album (i have loved DB since i was 5, i'm a little biased) i am a huge fan of scary monsters - the title track is ace...what a genius
i love your frankenfurter/legends comparison!!!

;D. Yes!!! Finally someone else is talking Bowie with me congratulations nerdgirl. Yes always loved David's ability to just reinvent himself whenever and play by his own rules. I have over 30 Bowie releases on Vinyl now and a few videos about 10 discs...yeah I'm a big fan. Oh todays listening.... Welcome Aboard the 3C10 - ROCKET SCIENCE Contact High - ROCKET SCIENCE B.R.M.C. - BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB Wish - CURE

. Ohh yeah and he gets better with age. There are a lot of rumours flying about that he might be out before the end of the year. It has been OVER TEN YEARS SINCE HIS LAST VISIT!!!! So man I'm so keen. Apparently his current set is the entire "Low" album, all of "Heathen" and an encore that includes "Halo Spaceboy" and "Ashes to Ashes". Did you see the recentish Live at the BBC show. I hope he still has that black girly with the shaved head on bass, she is a fucking monster ,

I still haven't moved on from Legends, Nunchukka and Pod People. But Spectator, noting your latest choices, what do you think of the progression of Rocket Science? I really dug Welcome Aboard... , but haven't liked much of what I've heard from Contact High.

. I'm into it F_Rock! I've got an 80's side to my mind that likes that they have incorporated some of that. Yeah I'd have to say I am a fan... Underfoot - DROPPING HONEY Full Metal Racket 2 - VARIOUS Beef With Cheese - LEGENDS OF MOTORSPORT

Listening to Pod People, Legends Of Motorsport and Volume most of the time.
Also listening to Spiritu and Hermano.
I agree F_Rock on Rocket Scienc, the first one was really cool but I got sick of the latest album fairly qucikly.

. Oh well each to their own boys. I'm really digging this new Triple J 3 Hours of Power comp. Heaps of cool shit including Warped and Dern Ruttlidge and some other shit I've been meaning to hear including Clutch. Clutch are pretty cool but I'm still keen to hear that older more abrasive stuff...

Peeping Tom... Mike Patton? I think you're thinking of Tomahawk.
I'm listening to the Faceful, saw them on Tuesday night, not as good as Supersnazz (another Japanese band that visited our shores about a month ago) but I just love watching 50s and 60s shit with a new edge. The frontwoman has a lot of attitude. Got there late and missed the D4 but more importantly FREE PISS damn. Anyway the Faceful cd is good!

Yeah Slattery I was at the Bloodduster/StiffMeat/Peeping Tom gig a few weeks back and I second ya about Peeping Tom - very impressive sounding band, and I only caught the last 2 and a half tracks. Gotta get that demo, I MUST HAVE IT!
