Headphone this one! 5) Mammoth Volume - Early Years. These guys are amazing. The analog sound is back. 6) Alabama Thunder Pussy - Staring at the Divine. This week: Ricaine - Intore: The Cold Rain - Melbourne's Fugazi-style, mello/angry rock from Bretthereberock of Warped and other awesome players. Wrench - Oscillator Blues - Realised these guys are way, way more than a Kyuss-like groove rock band. Heaps of cool stuff on this album. High on Fire - Surrounded by thieves - can't stop listening to this. Karma to Burn - Almost Heathen - killer, killer riffage and interesting songs that would be ruined by vocals IMO. Orquesta del Desierto - mello acoustic stuff. Pretty cool, awesome voice. Amazing voice. Monster Magnet - 25...tab - Haven't heard this in ages and I'm damn happy to have a copy now. What a trip. I think it changed me somehow. The Atomic Bitchwax - Spit Blood - As expected from these guys, fucken great. Soilent Green - A Deleted Symphony... - another one I can't get out of my player for long. Metal the way it should be played. Hard, slow, fast, intense, interesting, tight, crazy, manic, unpredictable. I like. Cathedral - Endtyme - one of my fav bands and fav albums. Heavy. Nuff said. Beaver - Mobile - This guys really rock, in a cruisey, quirky kinda way. Just how I like it. 500ft of Pipe - Dope Deal - Still crank this out cause it's got a nice groove and cool sounds. Rollins Band - Get some, Go Again - I really like this band, but this album kinda sucks. Sounds really formulaic or something. Dunno, just doesn't so it for me at the moment. Nativity in Black - Sab tribute II - good and bad. very good and very bad. Godsmack's sweet leaf is heavy, System of a Down's Snowblind is cool and quirky, Pantera love sabbath and do it well, Primus has the best bass player in the known universe perhaps, Slayer slay hand of doom and Soulfly picked a goody in Under the Sun. However, Machine Head suck, Megadeth are rude, Monster Magnet do too much with Into the Void and I dont wanna know about the rest. The Hellacopters - High Visibility - I know I shouldn't like this album but I do. Catchy, fun and rock. With crazy lead breaks. Awesome.
Bye

While we're hassling the administrator, cauld we please have the Legends EP Beef with Cheese in stores down here. Cause I don't know how to order online and don't want to bypass my favourite record (CRAM) store.
Oh, and Pod People too, cause they're heavier than all of your mums combined.
