after seeing the giants of science play an awsome gig at the tote...........i was forced to buy there cd well fuck......... its big it powerful and its roar as fuck i was a fan of there ep. but this leaves it for dead, i think the history of warfare is a better indication of the bands live feel. so far id have to say track one, i've tried, sticks in my head the most and has had the most repeats. these guys in my opinion have a real nack for mixing big heavy riffs with interesting song structures. big thumbs up from me

These guys are truly inventive & catchy, not unlike QOTSA in that regard.
I loved their EP (thanks Mark!), and can't wait to hear this one!

Very perceptive galacticcow, the Giants went into the studio with the express aim of making the recording closer to their live sound than the EP. Not that we don't like the EP or anything, just wanted to get a raw gritty release out there that was a bit more like the typical GOS live experience......
" I've Tried" is the lead single so you nailed that too. Filmclip is well cool and will be serviced to TV soon so touch wood you'll get to see it a bit.
We're all very ewxcited about the impending Monstrous/Shifter/Rockafella show up here in Brissy, should be an absolute corker. Jay from Monstrous sent me a copy of their new disc and it rules........
Take it easy High Beam dudes and say g'day to Jeb if any of you see him, Steve Rhythm Ace/Giants

Hey Jeb, yeah next weekend - Friday at Vic On The Park and Saturday at Time & Tide at Dee Why. Playing middle spot on friday and headlining Sat. We'll have a yarn about the latter venue because they're relatively new from what I can gather and really seem to look after you (guarantee wise etc).
Let me know if you're coming and I'll chuck you on the door, Belly

Cool, I'll be at Vic on the Park, Dee Why should be cool, the few shows I've been to up that way (northern beaches) have been really cool.
