Yeah the gig with Monstrous, Shifter and Rockafella should be cool!
The gig I was talking about is February 15 at the Jubilee Hotel - Budd, Undertoe and a couple of other bands.

I am astounded that noone has mentioned that Owen uses TWO BigMuffs and I'm sure that if he had a third one he would be using that as well!

This is wingnut, guitarist for double chmaber and loyal comrade of Fulcrum. Great to see so much interest in Fulcrum as they are kicking arse again. They've got a new drummer, Jeff who played for System 13, and Miss Transit 67 is back at Skinny's (got my copy today) minus the song Ant Queen but looking slick as ever. The lads are playing 25th April at the Chardon's Corner Hotel in Annerly Brisvegas with The Sheiks so get there and check em out, you'll be impressed, I guarantee it. Thanks for the mention about double chamber. The Z wars with Budd and Fulcrum was great. We're recording our EP in June and gigging the 26th April (the night after Fulcrum) at the Jubilee Hotel in the Valley, also with The Sheiks. G'day to all - w

Yeah bloody great! T'bah was pretty quiet, we had a ball but I think the rollerball guys were a bit over it. only about 30 people through the door, bit of a shame. the night after at the Edinborough castle ROCKED. Heaps of people and probably the best sound we've had yet. Great stuff by all reports!

Ahh I didn't realise that Double Chamber were doing the support for the Edinburgh Castle Hotel. Unfortuntely I was crook that night and I had an early start the next morning so I didn't end up making it! Are you coming along to the Edinburgh Castle Hotel on Friday night Wingnut? Gos are playing with the Turnarounds. Undertoe are also playing at the Eddie Castle Hotel on Thursday night.

Should be there FGM. The GOS boys were stoked to hear the Castle is cooking up a good sound so they should rock, as always. The night we played Intercooler filled in for King Mungi and they thought we were a CD when they walked in! But yeah, Friday should be a go, catch ya there most likely.

It's a shame I missed that gig! Yeah I saw Shutterspeed and Hudson Lowboy (yeah I know not the best choice of bands...) playing there on the opening night a few weeks back and the sound was really good.
Catch up with ya Friday night.

A little piece of fulcrum trivia for you here. For those of you who have the cd (and the rest of you who are about to but the cd!); the woman on the cover is my mum!. In 1967 she drove the length and breadth of England in a ford transit van, giving balloons to kiddies and signing autographs!. As you do.

Here is a review from the May issue of Tsunami Magazine:
FULCRUM - Miss Transit ‘67
Cutting through a wash of fuzzy feedback Drew’s gritty vocals explode out of the speakers giving way to the sludgy down-tuned riffing of ‘Stonewallin’. Fulcrum work the heavy / light formula to its full potential, with the track ‘Silver’ alternating between thick damaging riffing and heavily delayed wah-wah bluesy leads. ‘Armoured Saint’ is a more straight-ahead driving hard rock tune with strong soulful vocals. Fulcrum bring it home with the mellow desert rock instrumental jam of ‘Ol Man O’ The Desert’ replete with full 3-D drums and a heavily delayed single note guitar line.
