i hate it when people spit on the footpath let alone being spat on at gigs, to me it shows total lack of respect to the audience.

hahahaha @ spectator heheeh  im not impressed the spitting and im an old fan. i think brett has taken todd under his wing, so he must be teaching him how to spit too...  maybe people should start spitting back so they can see how it feels - totally uncalled for. |

We played with both of Todd's other/old bands a couple of weeks ago, and he didn't need any lessons in how to spit mouthfuls of beer, trust me, he had the technique down to a fine art. At least he was only spitting it on himself though.
I don't get the whole thing, if I wanted to pay to be covered in someone's bodily fluids, I'd be paying for a golden shower, not to watch bands.
Start a new rule, you spit on me, I throw a stubbie at you.

it certainly doesn't win votes with me and, by the sounds of it, most of the users on this thing...
do they still have the stripper thing goin' on? what was with that? - automatically they are pissing off about 50% of the crowd

they had the stripper on stage once as a promo/gimmick thing for the Strychnine Girl ep launch - I heard they also had male stripper/s on at a gig not too long after that, one for the ladies sorta thing to even it out. That was back when the Strychnine ep came out which was in the 1st 1/3 of 2001 i think.

 . Why are you laughing at me herstrut  When I saw Marilyn Manson at the Enmore Theatre it was a big part of the show that he spat on everyone and that they then spat on him. It was kind of theraputic spitting on that wanker. He gave me a real dirty look though because you were only meant to spit on him when he told you to. I coughed up some ugly matter that I had to get rid of and it just happened to be during some boring speech he was giving about how we should all be individuals. I turned around looked at all the "beautiful people" who as individuals decided to look just like him, I had a chuckle to myself, hocked a loogie right down his stinking throat ;D I've never spat on anyone else but he asked for it and a shot like that is one in a million and couldn't have gone to a more deserving receipiant. Hope it was tasty Maz

. Yeah wasn't sure. Would have been cool either way people often laugh at me. Apparently I'm funny . Thinking more on what I wrote I remembered a funny story. When Public Image Limited came to Australia and played at The Master Builders Club in The Gong ( So did Mudhoney before my time  ), apparently the gig was full of Sex Pistols fans who kept spitting on John Lydon. The show was stopped several times because of spitting. Later in an interview they asked him the worst place he had ever played and he says "That's easy. It would have to be that cursed WOOLY-Gong!..HA! Ha!...O.K. I'm on a roll here. The Tea Party said on Recovery that the funniest place they played in Australia was Wollongong because the fans were insane. I think my friend Barrett had something to do with that. We're all hanging back stage chatting to the guys and Barrett comes stumbling in leglessly drunk and he starts slurring some shit to Jeff Martin (Guitarist singer if you didn't already know). Jeff had just got this dicky short haircut so Barrett says "Hey dude do you get more chicks now that you have short hair?" Jeffs like "Yeah, actually I do" Barrett "I have no hair and I get no chicks whats with that..." It was hilarious, of course it's probably funnier if you were there and if you had met Barrett. Jeff thought it was so funny he directed Barrett to their rider and told him to go for it...Yep thats my story for the day. ;D
