It is now safe to say that if you live in Western Australia and you have a TV you have heard JED WHITEY by now as their track ‘I’m OK, You’re Fucked’ features in the latest West Australian government ad for road safety which is being featured on all commercial television networks in the state.The band will hit the east coast for a run of shows early in December and to coincide with this tour we’ll be releasing the single ‘My Own Private Altamont’ with plenty bonus tracks.We should have dates for the gigs in the next few weeks.

VOLUME
Call it space rock, call it acid rock, call it what you want really but the fact is VOLUME have delivered us a classic and timeless release in the form of ‘Requesting Permission To Land’.With some glowing reviews flowing in and plenty of praise from fans around the place, VOLUME now take their place as one of the finest ‘retro’ sounding rock band’s around.Their live gigs have also been gaining plenty of attention, you can see for yourself when they play their next show at The Garage in Los Angeles (USA) with the mighty Fatso Jetson on Saturday November 29th.

LEGENDS OF MOTORSPORT
The Legends continue to sit in the top 10 of the Australian indie charts with their ep ‘Beef With Cheese‘ which is also receiving some great reviews and airplay around the place.The band are playing in Melbourne over the next few week‘s and look like they will be heading north for shows in mid December with talk of a UK tour in the new year.Shows for LEGENDS OF MOTORSPORT this month are :

MONSTROUS BLUES
These guys have just wrapped up work on their brand new full length album and it is sounding amazing.The disc looks set to be released in December with an extensive tour early in 2003 to promote the release.They will be playing some shows around the place before the end of the year so stay tuned for details.We should have an mp3 from the album for you to download from the High Beam site in the next couple of weeks.

WRENCH
They are set to return to the live scene in early December after a very lengthy lay off.WRENCH will be doing shows in Melbourne, more details to be announced shortly.The brand new album from the band will be released early in 2003.

Canberra/Wollongong’s favourite merchants of doom/sludge/punk/metal/blues are hitting the studio this weekend to begin work on the follow up to their debut album ‘10 Songs Of Log’.The album will be out early in the new year.The band have a few more shows towards the end of the year including Metal For The Brain so stay tuned for details.
