HELL N’ DIESEL Tears for the Wicked (Shuffle)
By Warren Wheeler
Not ones for wasting time, Hell n’ Diesel dive straight into a restrained verse after just one round of the imposing rock-riff, before using a cleverly designed bridge to launch into one hell of a catchy chorus. They repeat this process, then slow things down a notch with bass/drum backing and dual lead, prior to going at it once more, and closing with a soaring punch! The format is so tried and tested it’s amazing how these guys make it sound fresh and exciting.
Think Roadsaw at their peak with a slight touch of Hellacopters and Giants of Science and you’re getting close to an apt description of Hell n’ Diesel’s testosterone-fueled R.O.C.K.!
‘Speed Devil’ proudly recalls ancient Guns n’ Roses stripped of their glam influences, and focusing on the pure, unadulterated mix of drums, guitar, and vocals.
A good mix of tunes with a high quality of craftsmanship.
