without a working vcr and only a dvd on the pc, i may have fairly limited things to say in this thread.... but i'll start it anyhow.
Ned Kelly - I went saw the film - maybe two weeks back - and was impressed though i but iffy about a few details. like the love interest that was not factual - ok, i guess i expected that - but what about all the unneccessary footage of australian flora and fauna. otherwise i thought it a decent, non-Hollywooded film.
The Bill - my fave show next to the simpsons. oh that chandler is in such trouble! ;D

I saw The Quiet American awhile ago, thought that was really good.
I've been watching lots of crap TV lately as I'm trying to save money. The Club was on last week, that was good for a laugh. Been tuning in to Dateline and Lateline a bit, and as much soccer as I can watch. Other than that I pretty much just pick a channel and go into a semi-conscious stupor while watching whatever crap is on at the time.

The Bill - my fave show next to the simpsons. oh that chandler is in such trouble! ;D The Bill's been awesome lately...and apparently it's only going to get better the next couple of months... Buffy's been pretty fantastic too, lately (although i nearly gave up on it after last season and the incredibly naff first few episodes this year). Been watching lotsa movies. Got the Fellowship of the Ring extended video the other day which continues to blow my mind with each viewing. Heaps better than the regular one, methinks. The Hours was surprisingly good too...a lot darker than i expected. And I got out the Bargearse video the other day...give me a good fart joke and i'll giggle like a little schoolgirl. Oh no! Are you serious her strut? I'm so disappointed in you. Mind you I can't talk as I pretty much mostly shit on TV. As evidence I present you with Charmed, ER, Sex and the City and even Friends (gasp!). If it ain't crappy, it ain't worth watching Last film I saw was Ripley's Game with the ever fantastic John Malkovich. It was a pretty good psychological drama/thriller.

There was a good thing on the sale of nukes on the black market on SBS last night, pretty scary. Osama apparently has a suitcase nuke; ie a nuke in a suitcase, for those unimaginative ones out there.
Watched the Life of Brian as well last night. And I think we should turn this thread into the funniest Monty Python quotes of all time.
"I'm not oppressing you, Stan -- you haven't got a womb. Where's the fetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?!"

Hey Adam, I got kicked out - nay almost dragged out of a recent Woolongong Wolves Soccer match for the huge crime of singing "always look on the brigh side of life" to a work mate (our company sponmsors the Wolves too!!) and the bleeding copper had never heard of Monty Python!! He demanded my name, and I wouldn't give it to him 'cos he wouldn't arrest me, but afterwards the names flew thick and fast - I shouyld have said my name's Bwian (welease Bwian) or Biggus Dickus, or Wodger!! aa well, I fart in your general direction was finally said to the security as I left!! Twats the lot 'em!!

"Some watery tart lying in a pond distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!"
Why would you get kicked out for singing that? Are you sure you didn't get kicked out for being blind drunk?
