Stiff Meat - Playing Riffs To Get a Fuck - (ind)

After seeing these guys play a few times, The mighty Stiff Meat have a cd demo. This four-track demo cd, absolutely smokes from the moment you press play Thick chunky fuzzed out heavy riffs that test your stereo systems limits. Stiff Meat is probably the best Melbourne band around that I have seen live, and if you ever see them playing in the gig guide get out there and check them out. This cd demo was done over a very short time, like 12 hours I think, but yet it still captures what Stiff Meat are about, These guys are so funny they sing about some funny topics which, I think is cool that they can have fun with music and still create a heavy vibe that not only rocks but sticks in your head!!
The musical talent of Stiff Meat is fucking awesome, James Rose is a killer guitar player pumpin’ out some serious fuzzed up and down tuned riffs, and he can play a mean lead break too. Brendan Mc Clusky follows the vibe and works well on rhythm guitar, Matt young sends out the heavy down tuned bass lines roaring and Tim Echols puts the pedal to the floor with some great thumping drum beats. These guys are the shit and hope someone picks these guys up soon so other people out their can experience their sounds.
