Went to see these bands knowing nothing about them, yet I walked away happy I had parted with my $3 to see two quality bands.
Missed the opener "Electric Nordle Extraordinaire" and I'm pissed off I did as with a name like that they can't have sucked.
However Mahkani and Peeping Tom both absolutely rocked out. Mahkani played the more groove orientated stripped back pure stoner type stuff, and Peeping Tom played jams with a sort of Suplecs crossed with Desert Sessions feel.
Anyway it makes me feel good to walk out of the tote knowing two more bands are playing stoner rock in Melbourne's scene.
