People ov the world warrnambool had the pleasure ov having these dudes down to warrnambool on the 22nd ov march and did they put on a show it was awsome.        ;D   they should be in victoria a bit more,!!

there where four bands on the night the first was a band by the the name ov slinkee an all girl band from melb.  i hpe they come down here again cos they rocked it out get along and see them if ur in melb i think there playing at the town hall with cockfight shootout on the 25 ov april be there or be square..... ;D
the 2nd band was a local band called sa-duna they playing there good style ov music sort ov like fumanchu cross sabbath..
the 3rd band was fucking awesome they are called timid joe and man do they rock the only other gutarist i've seen like him live is eddie glass if you ever see them playing any-where go and see em they will blow you away (thats my opinion though)
and then there was thumlock i'm still lost for words over these bloke's where do they come up with this music they write i just dont know but i hope they keep on writing it  ;D  anyway who ever has'nt heard there new album get out and buy it, it's a small price to pay for some exellent aussie music..... over and out and remember rockpower.....

I liked the review, I can see your point Wirthe but we shouldn't discourage people from posting whilst drunk.
I saw Thumock at their other gig in Victoria, at the Espy, and although they took a while to fire up, they did let loose with some of their patented psychedelic grooves.  The new stuff sounds pretty bloody good, however I haven't seen the album for sale down here yet.  Anyone know where I can pick it up in Melbourne?

There must be something about Warnambool gigs start stupid arguments in this forum, remember the Dern reviews  of their gig there six months or so back?
Mush, it's been a bit slow getting out there but it should be in shops now, check places like Cram, Greville, Missing Link, Gaslight, ect. It's through MGM Distribution if you are still having troble getting hold of it.

If I remeber that review of Dern at the Warrnambool was more famous for starting arguments about the quality of Dern's sound, their performance and the guys in the band themselves.

There is nothing wrong with makin' posts when you are drunk Maxi-power.  Get it all onto the High Beam Discussion Board while it is all still relatively fresh in your mind.  No doubt you would have woken up the next morning and only remembered half as much!
