So it's Grand Prix time again and I'm lucky (or unlucky, depending on your point of view) enough to work across the road from Albert Park, the three teams that chose to do Friday testing have finished, and in 20 minutes we'll have an hour of practice.
I'm not even a petrol head (honest) and those things turn me on.

hope you got your earplugs in Adam those things is bloody loud......doesn't quite come across on TV exactly how loud and how fast they are going am lucky enough to have scored a free ticket to the sunday race day, sitting right on the pit straight with all the food and drink you can stomach. Not normally a race fan but when you combine F1 + free beer (Crownies no less) + free tucker = guaranteed good time. even if you don't watch the race you can just get shitfaced and be obnoxious corporate backscratching does have its benefits

Yeah I know, even in here they are bloody loud, up on the roof they are fucking loud, and next to the track they are extremely fucking loud. This building is probably 50 metres from the track, on the corner where Lakeside Drive meets Albert Rd and Eastern Rd, get an awesome view, but the free food and drink sounds very good to me.
I'm coming in with a (restricted) number of mates to watch it on Sunday, and they won't let us drink up there, tight pricks.

Nah, but the biggest suckhole of an employee Wendy "May I have a straw please?" Wilson will be. She's a control freak who puts her hand up for everything. "I'd like to be a fire warden." "Yes, I'll volunteer for that." etc.
But, I'm thinking we'll be maggot before we get here anyway, and that there is a pub over the road, so it should be bearable.

Adam may I take the liberty of suggesting that you sing a few lines from the Mr Floppy classic "Noonan" at Wendy Wilson

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Mr Floppy, or his classic "Noonan", so you'll have to fill me in on that one.
Was a good race in the end, and thank god Ferrari didn't get a place. Lygon St would've been very quiet.
I've recently learnt that the Monaco GP is on when I'm in Europe, so I'll have to try and make it for that - provided I can afford it.

yes it was great to see all the ferrari fans wandering around with confused looks on their faces, not knowing how to react......sadistic aren't we
"Noonan....you're a f*ckin c*nt PAUL NOONAN....you're a bloody liar PAUL NOONAN....you're full of s*it PAUL NOONAN....why don't ya get f*cked"
just substitute Wendys name in the appropriate spots if you feel like it.........you might be able to find this track on MP3 somewhere on the web, its an old melb(?) band from the mid-late eighties called Mr Floppy....classic stuff, like a cross between early TISM and Painters and Dockers or the Psychos

Ah, now I know it, but I heard a trashy punk version with John Howard's name inserted in all the appropriate places a couple of years ago.
