....where was I? Ohh yeah, so I'm at Bizzo's. Never been to Bizzo's before and evidently nobody goes to Bizzo's at not on Sunday's, so what else do you do on a Sunday but check out the rock and drink schooners so I grab myself a schooner (and another schooner and another schooner  )....Rumblefish are a funny lot. Kind of sitting in the middle of Van Halen, Judas Priest, Rose Tattoo, AC/DC. There is something kind of bad about them but I find myself smiling anywat at how funny they are. Quasimodo is playing guitar (at least his awkward stage movements made him look like Quasimodo and the drummer looks like he hasn't changed his preened poodle hairdo since 1982 and the bassist is getting right into it and the singer looks like a seedy dude who once sold me some really dodgy speed....They do a...uumm version of AC/DC classic "If You Want Blood", they play an original called "Ambush" which I fear that I will be singing all the way home but the Monstrous Blues remedy the ambush with their own ambush and soon we are on "Octane" and then "Being King" and all is cool. I found out that the new tune I really dig is called "Podium" and that it will be on the next disc.......yeeeee. Nice to see you make it down for some of the set nicster  . The Legends of Motorsport pretty much rehearsed and a couple of us hung around and watched this shortened set. They didn't play the dinner and a show song which is called "Sharons 18th" but they finished up with a sludgefest "Drivin" and I was happy with that and I was also getting pissed and I think they are off to Port Macquarie and then Queensland and then Tasmania and then home. I hope they come back soon because they are wat cool and The Monstrous Blues will be back soon with Budd ;D and as for Rumblefish...I might run into you somewhere, I want be going to any great effort though your funny for all the wrong reasons ;D |
