, Well they came and we saw and we got loaded (and so did they probably). i was already in love with the world (thanks for the medication doc...) by the time I got to The Metro and as it turns out The Mess Hall scored the support for this gig. They were pretty cool a two piece (guitar/drums) a little derivative for my tastes in that they really, really, want to be The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. It's good to see broken strings not being a barrier for the show going on... B.R.M.C. well it gets a little bit shaky at this point (I was REALLY!!! in love with the world by this stage). you have to look at it like this, they only have one album so enevitably they played nearly all of that. There were two or three unidentified songs played which rocked out. They shut up and played and didn't talk to the crowd much which is always a bonus and the lighting was pretty much the same as inside the cd cover (loads of red, strobe, house lights in crowd) and for a three-piece band with a quite layered recording they managed to cover the sound live pretty competently. Yeah it rocked hope they'll be back again one day I'll be seeing them again ;D
