After buying this cd, I felt a little let down. However after five or so spins, I realised how good the fucker is. Nothing like the last two cds, almost a combination of both........... a rare taste of how good queens can be.... I will be listening to this one for a while...

I got the new disc/dvd & shirt the other day. I have listened to the disc a couple of times now but it didn't even take any time at all to realise how great this disc is.

Yeah sure we might not even be discussing Queens Of The Stoneage at all if it wasn't for the respective member's backgrounds and previous success with their other bands. I think the overall quality and originality of QOTSA is going to see this album as being one of the standout rock albums of this decade. Big call yeah, but I think it is justified??

. I fucking well thought as much FGM. I REALLY, REALLY want this album as well as the other millions but his one is right at the top of the list. Money, thats what I want so I can swap it for cool tunes ;D

It took me 2 listens to like this album...

I'd heard a few of the songs on radio, and mp3... and they didn't really seem to fit together very well... but i must say the the album kicks ass!

Yeh, it only took me a couple of listens to realise the gold that is on this disc. I don't think I'll like any album as much as the first, cause they'll never be that raw again, but this album is definately as good as Rated R. And if you didn't like that, you should probably give it another try. You could be forgiven for skipping the one or two commercial singles on these albums, but other than that they're awesome.
Grohl on drums is awesome and I think Mark Lanegan's vocals fit it fairly well where they are. Sounds a bit like Josh in a lot of parts. I need more listens, MrKyuss, I need a copy. Don't think QOTSA need my money any more. Besides, I'll pay for their show when they get back down (please soon).

Haven't heard this yet, you guys are builing it up a fair bit, especially you FGM, I hope it lives up to it when I get around to picking up a copy.
